American Food Equipment was founded by Bob Greene as a subsidiary of his company American Grinding & Equipment Company. In February of 2008, Michael Clements purchsed AFE from Bob where he still serves as a staff consultant. At it's core, American Food Equipment is a company owned by restaurant people to serve restaurant people. We understand that ours is not a 9 to 5 business, which is why we are always availalble to our customers.
Michael Clements - Meet the Owner
Michael Clements was born and raised in Miami, Florida. At the age of twelve he began selling hot dogs at the Miami Marine stadium and has been involved with the food service industry ever since. In his more than 25 year career, he has worked in virtually every position in the restaurant industry, including his 14-year tenure at Johnny Rockets where he was director of operations for the South Florida franchise group as well as the director of operations for Monty’s Rawbar. As a consultant, Michael has worked for companies such as Nordstrom’s, RCI Marine, Flagship Marinas, and many others.
