Drawing on over 40 years of experience in commercial kitchen design, American Food Equipment translates your vision into reality using state-of-the-art Computer-Assisted Design (CAD) techniques. We have designed everything from gorgeous, glass-encased showpiece kitchens to highly efficient production kitchens in the smallest of spaces, maximizing functionality, efficiency and performance over every inch of space. And our expertise does not stop at the kitchen door. Our design and space planning services extend to the dining room and bar as well, creating a fully-integrated food service operation.

Bavaria House

Bavaria Haus is a progressive German gastro pub located on the waterfront in the Bayside Marketplace.  American Food Equipment transformed a retail clothing store into this brand new, top-of-the-line restaurant space.  AFE designed the  kitchen and bar and sourced/installed all of the equipment. Work completed in April, 2015.


Cipriani

Cipriani is an 8000 square foot high-end Italian restaurant located in the new Viceroy building on Brickell Avenue. American Food Equipment created a new restaurant space at this water front location, developed the equipment layout for the kitchen and bar and supervised execution onsite.  AFE worked within the overall design  created by acclaimed Florentine architect Michele Bonana to ensure visual and functional continuity. Work completed in May, 2013.


Coya

Coya is a vibrant Peruvian restaurant and bar (“Pisco Bar”) located at 999 Brickell Avenue. American Food Equipment further developed and perfected the original design and sourced/installed all of the kitchen and bar equipment. Work completed in March, 2015.


Area 31

Area 31 is an upscale Mediterranean-inspired seafood restaurant at the EPIC Hotel featuring an outdoor lounge, sustainable seafood, tasting menu & popular riverfront happy hour.  American Food Equipment redesigned and retrofitted an existing restaurant space to bring this project to life, and sourced/installed all new kitchen and bar equipment. Work completed in August, 2014.
